Press & Media

Thank you for your request for press credentials for MAYfest 2017! To be considered for a press/photo pass, please complete the short form below for EACH person requesting a press ticket. The form is only valid for ONE person. If you are requesting more than 1 ticket, each ticket request form must be filled out individually.

Press passes are limited and they are a privilege so please be as detailed as possible when completing your form, especially the section on advance press coverage.

NOT ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE APPROVED
Media/Photo passes are limited – This is only a request.

WHO IS CONSIDERED MEDIA?
“Media” are journalists, photographers and editors who have a confirmed EDITORIAL assignment to cover the festival for a recognized media outlet (print, online, radio or TV) that generates ORIGINAL advance articles and reviews about the festival.

Bloggers must provide specific information about the reach of their site. Credentials for bloggers are extremely limited and evaluated carefully. We are looking for editorial coverage not just event listings and reposts of press releases.

Photographers – You must be a photographer on assignment. No portfolio photography or personal web site photography will be permitted. Only photographers with professional cameras such as SLR or interchangeable lens cameras will be allowed in to the photo pits. Point and shoot cameras and smart phones will not be permitted and the policy will be enforced by staff and security. ONLY photographers are allowed in press pit – no reporters, writers or on air talent. You will be required to sign a photo release form.

CREDENTIALS ARE FOR MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES ONLY
Personal assistants, associates, guests or other similar staff employed by media outlets do not qualify for media credentials. Guests or family members traveling or attending with journalists do not qualify for media credentials.
